Unusual East African Thumb Piano

Thumb piano with tightly-placed piano keys, similar to thumb pianos found in central and coastal Tanzania, however the engravings on this instrument’s face are unique in my experience. The series of pyramidal shapes on the face are similar to a motif we find along the Swahili-speaking coast of Tanzania.
