Authentic Art and Ethnographic Objects From Africa / Custom Mounting Services
Lost wax cast copper alloy pendants were widely worn talismans in West Africa through the mid-20th c. They also served as diviners’ props. These pendant figures come from the personal collection of Joseph Knopfelmacher, founder of Craft Caravan, the landmark emporium of African arts and crafts in Soho, New York City. They are not a pair and may be purchased singly or together.
