Small Akan-Twifo Head
This beautiful little head shows a lot of age. It’s similar in style to work dated to the 18th century. It was acquired on a different, vintage and clumsy base dating to around 1980 from a South Carolina estate. Given its modest size it’s likely that this lovely work was part of a larger ritual work, perhaps a vessel. $375
