Shona Snuff Bottle with Wirework
Wooden snuff container featuring wirework from the Shona people of Zimbabwe. Snuff containers were personal objects which would have belonged to an individual, hence the loop on the side of the container, called a lug, which allows the bottle to be carried around or worn on a lanyard.
