Pair of Kikuyu Beaded Head Adornments
Collected in the mid-’70s, this beautiful pair of beaded personal adornments look like armlets but were in fact originally worn on the head by a bride. The adornments, each worn on either side of the head, were suspended on a beaded leather headband. A rare find. Ex Joseph and Margaret Knopfelmacher.
