Pair of Jimma Headrests
It is very rare to find a pair of headrests from the same household still together. This pair, from the Jimma region of southwestern Ethiopia, are like other headrests from the area: roughly 2/3 base, 1/6 saddle and 1/6 neck in their proportions. These objects have been lathe-turned so that the designs circumnavigate the entire support of the headrests.
