Mambila Anthropomorphic Vessel
Ritual brewing vessel with signs of use featuring incised lines on the back and representations of body scarification. Such vessels echo Tadep figures, ritual wooden sculptures of the Mambila, which are housed in a ritual structure called a swaga, which also houses pottery, ceremonial masks and regalia.
