Igbo Izi Elephant Mask
A dialect of the Igbo language, Izi is spoken in southeastern Nigeria’s Ebonyi State. This colorful ceremonial mask exemplifies a classic zoomorphic form from this region, its upturned tusks plainly elephantine. Carved opening at the back of the mask.
