Me’en Headrest with Aluminum Handle
The Me’en, Mekan or Bodi are a Surmic people living in the Omo River Valley immediately north of Lake Turkana in southwest Ethiopia. The name Banio is also applied to this group, although Banio may be a dialect of Me’en. They are nomadic pastolists, herding goats and cattle and traditionally shifting camps often so as not to deplete local resources. $300
