Unusual Shona Stool
Shona stools are typically quite elaborate, small and detailed, whereas this Shona example is more block-like and seems to emulate a piece of foam rubber in its form despite being a plainly well-used, older object. Lots of evidence of wear on the piece. Acquired in Zimbabwe in the 1990s. Ex collection Tim Anderson.
